EXHIBITION OPENING
Mimosa House and Fondazione WoW present Show Less, a solo exhibition by Claire Fontaine, the Palermo-based artist collective.
The project is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture through the Italian Council program (14th edition, 2025), and realized in partnership with Fondazione WoW.
For the first time in a public institution in London, Claire Fontaine presents new site-specific works created especially for this occasion.
The exhibition explores themes of feminism, visibility, language, and politics through sculpture, lightboxes, and immersive installations.
The new installation, Newsfloor (The Guardian), transforms the entire exhibition space into a “white cube” where Claire Fontaine’s works interact with current news, images, and advertisements — creating unexpected juxtapositions and powerful reflections on the contemporary world.
At the heart of the exhibition lies the idea of freedom of expression — and how words and images can shape our perception of reality. Works such as reproductions of iconic paintings and provocative neon pieces, including Fatherfucker, invite audiences to reflect on gender stereotypes, violence, and the role of the media in society.

Following its presentation in London, Show Less will be hosted by Fondazione WoW in Rome in 2027, accompanied by a new publication in collaboration with Mousse Publishing, documenting both chapters of the exhibition.

Guests are invited to a special breakfast marking the preview of Claire Fontaine’s solo exhibition, Show Less, at Mimosa House.
At 10:00 AM, curator Daria Khan will be in conversation with the artist, offering audiences a unique opportunity to delve into the themes and works featured in the exhibition.
