Book launch de Le Nemesiache: Reclaiming Mythological Rituals

Book launch organized by Marea Art Project in collaboration with WOW Foundation and Archivia, presenting Le Nemesiache: Reclaiming Mythological Rituals by Sonia D’Alto, at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne in Rome.

This bilingual volume (Italian and English) brings together previously unpublished documents, photographs, and posters from the Neapolitan feminist artistic collective, with particular attention to images capturing preparatory and more intimate moments, highlighting the process-based and collective dimension of their work.

The chronology and selection of archival fragments are interwoven with contemporary reflections ranging from ecological spirituality to the historical reconstruction of feminist networks of solidarity, from transformative justice to queer artistic theories, while also addressing Southern and Mediterranean perspectives.

The presentation at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne will feature Marea Art Project, Andrea Mei (WoW Foundation), Giovanna Olivieri (Archivia), Bruna Felletti (Karma), members of Le Nemesiache, and the author Sonia D’Alto, who will share the collaborative process behind the book and present a selection of archival images, offering insight into the most significant moments in the history of the collective.
